Notes to this poem…
Inspired seeing someone do sudoku on the ferry ride. My choice of activity, not just because I enjoy it for the creativity involved, but also that it may have the rare instance of providing others with joy, something to think about, inspiration, enjoyment, etc. Hopefully, there won’t be many instances where it causes any negative reaction in people, or at least negative without a positive outcome where they might turn it around to do something good for themselves and/or others. It’s all about potential impact, for me, on top of the enjoyment that I expect to get out of most of what I can choose to do, like a bonus outcome or purpose in addition to the intrinsic ones first and foremost to be authentic and true to myself.
The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
