Had forgotten how nice these
Night ferry rides are
To take and enjoy!

Notes to this poem…

This may well be the last poem in this collection as residual bridge closures remotely related to the Big Lift project get ever rarer, if not possibly have stopped all together, combined with my very rare need to go to Dartmouth for anything any more, or come back on such trips. How fitting it is that I took a moment of gratitude to realize what these trips were like!

I should take more of these trips, if not to write poems for another collection, just to enjoy the rides for $2 each way! Or slightly more than $2 in less than a month now, but still well worth it!

The F-series poems are part of a collection composed on my ferry rides across Halifax Harbour when the buses aren’t crossing the MacDonald bridge due to the Big Lift bridge redecking. This should keep happening until at least December 2016.
