Harbourwalk Poem W052

Guy walking with lots
Of grape tomatoes in hand –
On the Harbourwalk –
Haiku someone might write of
Me today with my baggage

05.20.18 – 05.27.18

Notes to this poem…

The first three lines of a tanka, this poem’s format, is one variation of a haiku. As a result, I was able to squeeze a haiku in as an example of poetry someone might write. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
