Harbourwalk Poem W076

I run and walk the
Harbourwalk enough
I could etch my tracks in it

Notes to this poem…

I sometimes do have the picture in my head that I only ever walk and run one exact route on that Harbourwalk, back and forth pending the direction I’m going in. It feels all the same under my feet. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
