Notes to this poem…

I used to write rhyming poetry almost exclusively. Look through the forms categories of recognized poetic forms needing rhyme schemes, and look a the dates. of the poems in them.

Of course, I’m reflecting on that past while rhyming for some irony and humour, especially with the final forced rhyme. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, in 2018, when the Seabridge was in place.
