Harbourwalk Poem W341

Phones with cameras –
Have not matched the value of
Good photography –
They have just made it harder
To find among all the trash

Notes to this poem…

You have a lot more phones with good cameras today than there ever were good cameras of any sort in the past. However, the rate of good photography among all the photos taken has not kept up. There’s just a lot more garbage photos around being posted everywhere that it makes good photography harder to find.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
