Can a person be crazy –
But in harmless and/
Or productive ways?

Notes to this poem…

I don’t doubt you can with all the psychological diagnoses out there, some of which are bound to be helpful either as is, or if taken to extremes. I’m just a bit tired to be thinking of examples now but will challenge you to think of some.

Writing some 1800 poems over almost 3 decades that nobody generally reads might be crazy in harmless and productive. 😉

I have won awards in a few contests, though, so it’s not all for nothing. 🙂

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
