Harbourwalk Poem W390

Not many dark spots –
On the surface of
Halifax Harbour tonight

09.09.19 – 09.10.19

Notes to this poem…

Moonlight reflections, lighthouse beam reflections, city light reflections, refinery reflections, boat light reflections, and probably a few other small reflections. All combined to leave very little darkness on the water surface of Halifax Harbour tonight.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
