Breaking story at this time about how Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, once donned brownface as Aladdin for a dance at a private school in Vancouver where he once taught, and donned blackface to sing “Day O”.
Terrible story, for sure! It will definitely add a little life to this election that’s been stagnant, to be honest.
Judge all you want, but ask yourself this. If you were Prime Minister, how many stories in your life might come out that would cause a public outcry? Make sure you think hard and don’t brush it off as none.
We’ll see how judgmental Canadians are about race from this.
