At five two – one oh six pounds –
I’m a cross between
An elf and a dwarf

Notes to this poem…

I’ve got the height of a dwarf and the proportions of an elf in those dimensions (five feet two, 106 pounds). If only I lived among dwarves, I’d be a god among them instead of something close to a midget among adult humans. For dating, I’m consider not much more than a midget for physical attractiveness even though I have an amazing body that is capable of many things bigger, even athletic and bigger, bodies cannot come close to replicating.

The W-series poems comprise mostly of haiku or tanka composed during walks I took on the portion of Halifax’s waterfront known as the Harbourwalk, during the warmer months of 2018 & 2019, when the Seabridge was in place.
