No waves to be heard
Only a mild breeze
Wind and ocean in balance

Notes to this poem…
I was standing on the wharf by the beach in Point Pleasant Park in the middle of my run, in the dark of winter evening, to stop, slow things down, and enjoy nature, when I noticed this beautiful phenomena. The wind was at my back blowing out to sea. There were some waves to be seen on the surface of the harbour ocean. Yet, there was no sound to be heard from the waves, just the wind, and really no waves to be seen on shore.
That’s why I make a stop on my runs these days, to discover and enjoy moments like these!
The R-series poems were composed while I was out running, in an effort to find time for writing in a life that is always getting busier.
