Moving Day

Moving day was June 1st –
2021

To modern poetry –
On a new blog –
Called microbursts

For a fresh start –
Symbolic freedom –
And a much cleaner layout –
Without dates –
Or Notes –
Or other excesses
Drowning out the poems

But when the classical poet in me
Finds inspiration to write
It will be here
It’ll just be rarer than before
Much rarer

As much as –
Or more than –
That which you had read here
