With almost all the poems I’ve ever read in my life, I’ve always wanted to know something more about them directly from the poets, like what they might have had to say about them if just given a little space to say something… anything. Having written poetry myself now, I have the urge to do the same with my poetry, even though I’m not dreaming anybody might want to know anything more about it, i.e. that I have an audience wanting to know more.

Most of the earliest poems eventually to be annotated in this blog was originally self-published in a collection called Perspectives in April 2001 (ISBN 0-9686250-0-2). The annotations I am adding with each entry released offers other perspective into these poems regarding some other fact, feature or something relevant to them which I have chosen to share.
