Throughout our wedding day –
There were joyous tears our eyes –
But judging by all the rain
That fell that day –
I think all the angels above
Pretty much felt the same way

The girl I marry will have to be
Along the lines of something celestial
In the realm of the terrestrial –
I would not settle for anything less –
But she need not be angel nor goddess –
‘Twouldst suffice – if she were poetess
