Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart –
Was the Master of Classical music art –
Despite his music often sounding jovial –
The genius behind it was nothing trivial

Notes to this poem…

The last of the classical music composer clerihew I composed many years ago, the first instinct and intention was to rhyme Mozart with fart since clerihews are supposed to be hewmorous in its own way. Something in the movie Amadeus, which is one of my favourite movies of all time, made me think fart was the rhyme I had to have to rhyme with Mozart in this clerihew, but cooler air streams prevailed and I went for a more sincere and accurate portrayal of Mozart and his music. Too bad it took me almost a month to give up that idea cause it took me about a day to write this poem after giving up the idea of having the word fart in the clerihew to rhyme with Mozart.

But if you really want to hear how much others passionate about life and music exalt Mozart, rummage through the quotes on this quotations page! Man, I LOVE reading what passionate people have to say about others to whom they look up and admire! That’s about as good as it gets for sincere inspiration.
